Crutches and knee scooters have many advantages and disadvantages, but there is nothing on the market that combines the best qualities of both. With Step It Up, users can travel long distances on the scooter and traverse short obstacles with the crutch without risk of additional injuries.

Materials science is also an important factor in Step It Up. Crutches can be made from wood, aluminum, or metal. The first crutch was made by wood and we have progressed to stronger material like aluminum and steel. Knee scooters are primarily made of metal and plastic parts.
